Abstract
Andropause is a clinical and biochemical syndrome associated with advancing age in males and mainly characterized by a deficiency in serum (blood) androgen, mostly testosterone levels. The significance of the age-related decline of androgens remains unclear in terms of cardiovascular risk, mood and cognition and prostatic health. In this review article we discuss about pathophysiology, symptoms and treatment of andropause.
