Abstract
Blunt abdominal trauma causing colon rupture is rare. Rupture and complete transection of the colon with tissue loss is uncommon. Here is a report of 2 cases of blunt abdominal trauma with haemoperitoneum. They had rupture and complete transection of transverse colon which was managed by primary repair with good postoperative recovery
